About The Role!
We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Glass Cutter to join our team. If you have experience working with glass and mirrors and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, we would want to hear from you.
Position: Glass Cutter
Location: Glass & Mirror (Fiji) Pte Ltd
Position Requirement: x 2
Reporting to: Branch Manager – GNM Suva
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, mark, and cut glass according to customer specifications and production requirements.
- Interpret work orders, drawings, and measurements accurately.
- Handle, transport, and store glass products safely to prevent damage.
- Operate glass cutting machines and related equipment.
- Inspect glass products for quality and accuracy before dispatch or further processing.
- Assist with edging, polishing, drilling, and other glass processing activities as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with stock control and material handling when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in glass cutting, glazing, aluminum fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of glass types, measurements, and cutting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements, drawings, and job specifications.
- Experience operating glass cutting equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling glass safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
